John entered this world in May of 1964 right in the middle major changes in America between the 1950's and 1960's. Raised by two honorable and hard working parents, being steeped in music from the 60's and 70's, John considers himself "The luckiest man on the face of the earth" to have lived the life he has in this time in history and to have been blessed with the family that he has. Please enjoy and thanks for stopping in!

I was awarded an Engineering Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for my part in the design, development and implementation of the Dolby CP500 Cinema Processor. Over 25,000 CP500 Cinema Processors are currently in the field and might even be at a theater near YOU!!! Also, I have a Primetime Emmy from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for my part in the development of the DP600 Program Optimizer which transcodes to and from various Dolby formats (Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Pulse) and also performs loudness estimation and correction so that you won't have to ride that volume control on your TV set anymore!!!
